Conker spreads its branches with our growing and flourishing team
In this blog post, we reflect on Team Conker’s latest growth spurt, catch up with our new starters and hear a little bit about agency life in our office in leafy Didsbury.
The past 6 months have been a rollercoaster for Team Conker. With not one, not two, but FIVE new starters, the office has been abuzz with new personalities, bringing fresh ideas and experience.
We couldn’t be happier with how well our latest Conkers have settled in, but don’t take our word for it – let’s hear what Natalie, Lucia, and Amanda have to say!
Natalie – Account Executive
I joined Conker back in November and thanks to an immersive experience, I’m stunned at how quickly I’ve been able to develop my skillset in just six months!
From elder care home to weightlifting accounts, a diverse and ever-growing client roster means there’s always something new to sink your teeth into. Don’t get things right first time? No problem. Everyone is super supportive and will take the time to sit down with you to fill in the gaps together, ensuring everything is on point before it’s seen by our clients and the world at large.
With Conker HQ based in vibrant Didsbury Village, joining the team meant starting my agency journey in style! Featuring leafy walls, a chic layout, and shiny new signage, our contemporary office reflects Conker’s dynamic approach to marketing. Did I mention there’s a French bakery not a two-minute walk away!
Lucia – Account Executive
I’m Lucia, newest in the Conker bunch! I’m so excited to start my marketing journey with such talented and hardworking individuals who instantly made me feel like part of the team.
My first two months here have flown by, I’ve been involved in lots of interesting projects and campaigns from day one which has allowed me to get stuck in and take every opportunity to learn.
I’m looking forward to the rest of my journey and starting my digital marketing course to boost my skills and gain the technical knowledge to support the team to the best of my ability. I can’t wait to see what else Conker has in store for me!
Amanda – Account Manager
After gaining wide experience of in-house marketing, I was ready for a new challenge and decided to return to my agency roots, joining Conker to get stuck into an exciting variety of clients and projects!
Six months later, I can’t believe how fast and, paradoxically, how slowly time has gone by! It really is true that time flies when you are having fun. And yet, fitting into the team and getting stuck in so quickly has made it feel as though I’ve been part of Conker for much longer.
I’m surrounded by amazing people who inspire and challenge me every day, and working at Conker is much more than I could have ever expected.
